  7. Family Scrapbook is a  powerful genealogical database system.
  8. It is an useful tool for anyone that wishes to use a computer
  9. for recording family history research.

  11. Updated stuff:  European users will  be glad to  hear that it
  12. now  supports their  keyboard's accented  characters. Several
  13. bugs  have been  removed. It  can now  export and  import all
  14. scrapbook-  unique data  via  GEDCOM.  A gedcom  file preview
  15. feature has also been added.

  17. Features:  * It  can handle  up to  65535 records  and offers
  18. numerous  search lists  such as  names, birthdates,  deceased
  19. dates, marriage dates, record numbers, and divorce dates.

  21. * It sports  a user friendly interface  with help screens. It
  22. is very easy to browse through and edit your data.

  24. * It  easily  handles  akward  family  situations  that other
  25. programs often "choke" on:  illegitimate births, couples that
  26. never married, and only one parent known.

  28. * It has GEDCOM import/export abilities so that you can trade
  29. data with  other genealogy programs.  If you currently  use a
  30. genealogy program and it  supports GEDCOM, converting over to
  31. Family Scrapbook is easy!

  34. changes, christening info, passenger  list info, census info,
  35. baptismal info, and immigration info.

  47. are used by the Tafel Matching  System to help you find other
  48. people who are researching the same or similar family lines.

  52. Report  that will  print a  list of  your relatives  with all
  53. titles and what  side of the family each  person is from, and

  55. the members of a family.
